This weekend Maddie turned four months old so I thought I would post a bunch of recent photos of her. She is getting so big. Over the past few weeks she has really developed a little personality. She can babble up a storm, mostly vowel sounds but a few bbbrrrs.. and M's. I keep trying to get her to say mom but she just laughs at me. She also "learned" to screech which I am not too fond of. It was cute at first but it is quite high pitched and when she does it right in my ear when I am holding her, I swear I have some hearing lose. She has also started sitting up with support and has started to try to roll over. The sitting up is cute but it has brought with it some serious drooling, it just comes out like a faucet. I guess its time for a bib.As for Daniel and I, we are doing great. Tonight we went to dinner together, it was actually the first night ever that we have gone to a restaurant since Maddie was born and the first time we have ever really left her in someone else's care. I felt a little sad leaving her but I knew she was in good hands at my parents house and once we got to the restaurant I was ok. It was very nice to have dinner with my husband without one of us having to stop in the middle of eating and tend to the baby. We actually got to eat at the same time. Such a simple pleasure that isnt appreciated until its gone, but I wouldnt have it any other way.
Well here are the pics:

Dad and Maddie in the kitchen.

I just love this little robot outfit, yeah she looks like a boy but I dont care, its so cute!

Here she is in her overalls, she looks like a country girl. I had to post a pic of her feet below, she has the chubbiest little feet ever.

Here she is half asleep in frog pajamas (I love that book!)

These are all so good!!! (Tho, Dad looks tired...)
ReplyDeleteI guess I don't know about 'the book', but she sure is cute in the frog pajamas:-) What size are they? (just so I can get an idea of how what size fits how, now...) I guess she has grown out of those newborn sizes--- oh, and tell me about the book.
That's nice that you and Danny went out to dinner. Grandma and Grandpa need Maddie time, too :)
sending hugs...
Love,
Donna
"Those pictures of Maddie sure are cute", said Grandpa Dan, smiling.
ReplyDeleteYes poor Daniel was quite tired in that photo:( Dad works too hard.
ReplyDeleteAs for growing out of those newborn clothes, yes she definitely has! She can fit in 6-9 months now but I have been buying 9 Months because she is growing like crazy and I think our dryer is shrinking things. I have so many clothes that she has already grown out of!
As for that book, its just a book by one of my favorite authors Tom Robbins. when I bought those pjs with frogs on them I thought of his book titled "Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas" and then I got that pic of her yawning and I thought it was an appropriate title for the photo:)
So glad you and Dan like the pics.
Love,
Stephanie
what do they say... "growing like a weed!", how true!
ReplyDeleteThat's cute about the book, yes, how appropriate.
