Today Daniel and I drove six hours total to pick out our new boxer puppy! Isnt he the cutest thing you have ever seen! We have wanted a dog for so long, its one of the biggest reasons we bought a house, because we were sick of landlords telling us we couldnt have a dog. He wont be ready to come home until next weekend so we will have to make the trip again but it will be worth it. Now we have a whole week to figure out what to name him.
Below are photos that I took during our road trip. The fields were full of cotton. I have lived in Va most of my life and never seen so much cotton, usually soy beans or corn so I made daniel pullover so I could get a photo. I also thought this old derelict home was pretty cool. Took way too many pics of it. I think this is the best one. It was such a beautiful sunny day with a hint of fall in it.
Thats the best puppy ever. I cant wait to go get him next weekend.

Once upon a time, long ago when I was a little girl, we went on a trip to see my grandma in Oklahoma. It was during the time when the cotton was "cottoning", and I picked a couple to take to school for show and tell! I think I was the only kid in Oregon that ever saw cotton actually growing!
